ESCAPE INTO THE MASTERPIECE ON THE BIGGEST SCALE AND MOST PRESTIGIOUS FORMAT! Three people walk the world in search of strangeness and wonder, uncovering things others wish were left covered. They are the mystery archaeologists, explorers of the planet's secret history, charting the unseen borders of a fantastic world. Bestselling writer Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan, The Batman's Grave) and acclaimed artist John Cassaday (Uncanny Avengers, Captain America) deliver this epic, mind-bending tale of an interdimensional peacekeeping force tasked with tracking down evidence of superhuman activity. These mystery archaeologists uncover unknown paranormal secrets and histories, such as a World War II supercomputer that can access other universes, a ghostly spirit of vengeance, and a lost island of dying monsters. The entire series is collected in this oversize hardcover, including Planetary #1-27, Planetary Preview, Planetary/The Authority: Ruling the World, Planetary/Batman: Night on Earth, and Planetary/JLA: Terra Occulta.
