Jim Hoke has risked death to find his daughter, Wendy. But now that he has, she’s fully lost to the Floating Man and his surreal Wonderland. Jim finds himself at the mercy of the very person he’s moved heaven and earth to rescue. He’s horrified by Wendy’s tour of Wonderland, and gutted when she betrays him to die before the eyes of her new, supposedly-chosen family. After all, Jim’s fellow father Casey has already been gutted by his own son—why wouldn’t Jim be next? To save himself, and to save Wendy, Jim has to do the hardest thing in the world—admit his failures as a father, admit the person he was, so that he and Wendy can start fresh together. If Jim can sway Wendy back to reason, it’ll be father and daughter fighting their way out of hell—but at least they’ll be doing it together.
