Abraham, busy searching the world for Dracula, realizes he can't leave his daughter alone, so he sends her away to a close family friend, Anne Porter, to be safe...and to learn. Liesel quickly realizes that Anne is an engineering genius, who introduces her to technological wonders she has never seen before--weapons and tools that could make her a better hunter. But as Liesel learns and trains under a new mentor, she quickly discovers that the Van Helsing name makes her a target, and some of her family's deadliest enemies have found her....
